தமிழில் எழுத முயற்சி (An attempt to blog in Thamizh)

“ப்லாக்” ஆரம்பித்து நான்கு வருடங்கள் ஆன பிறகு தமிழில் எழுதும் முயற்சி இது. முயற்சி திருவினையாகும் என்பார்கள். என் முயற்சியோ இது வரை என் கைகளுக்கு கசப்பாகவும், கண்களுக்கு இனிமையகவும் இருந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது…எனினும், திருவினையாகும் நாள் வெகு தொலைவில் இல்லை என்ற நம்பிக்கையே இந்த முயற்சியை நான் தளற விடாமல் இருக்க உந்துதலாக இருக்கும்.

பெரிதாக எதுவும் தமிழில் எழுதி சாதிக்காவிட்டாலும், சிறிதாக அவ்வப்பொழுதெழுதி, சிற்றின்பம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம் என சிந்தித்து, இத்தோடு முதல் முயற்சிக்கு முழுமனதோடு முற்றுப்புள்ளி வைக்கிறேன்.

(பிழை ஏதும் இருந்தால் சுட்டிக் காட்டுங்கள் – Typoக்களை சரி செய்ய பயன் படுத்திக் கொள்வேன் உங்கள் கருத்துக்கள் மூலம்…)

** The above loosely translates to the following:

“After almost 4 years of blogging, this is my first attempt to blog in Thamizh. They say that “practice makes perfect”. But my practice so far has given me bitter hands and sweet eyes. But the hope that the day of perfection is not too far away, motivates me to continue. I don’t think I am going to create Thamizh master pieces here but I am ending this post with the thought that at least, I will be able to derive small pleasures out of this”.

Besides fantasizing about being a Peter Gibbons at least for a couple of days at my work, I think I have a long way to go to realize some of the other fantasies. But like any ambitious man out there, I will get there! Annan, I found (?!?!!!) these …

1. முதல் பத்தி, ஐந்தாவது வரி – “திருவினையாகும்” என்பதற்கு
பதிலாக ‘திருவினயகும்’ என மாறியிருப்பது

2. இரண்டாம் பத்தி, இரண்டாவது வரி – “..தெழுதி” என்பது
‘..தெழிதி’ என மாறியிருப்பது

its interesting to see tamizh in your blog but unfortunately some letters/words in other languages cannot me expressed through tamizh and some exclusive beauty of tamizh cannot be expressed in other languages as well!

  பிழைகளை சுட்டிக்காட்டியதற்கு நன்றி. சரி செய்து விட்டேன் (என நம்புகிறேன்)..As long as there is a good Thamizh keyboard not available, it will take time – needless to add, I may have lost touch with the written form of this beautiful language!

Nice Reggae song…! whose voice was that? it was a very catchy tune….who wrote the lyrics?…By the way iam Raji alias Sharmila alias Chella, RV’s wife…iam interested in music and learning now…composing some of them for an album…So we met your parents in a function and mama gave me your website address…took such a long time to view that now!…as far as i have seen, its a very good one….will comment more once i go through it fully…keep it up! all the very bests.   And the voice is mine – There are multiple vocal tracks in the song as you can hear..And each phrase is recorded with an attempt to make it sound different.
  Example:
  The “Jilu Jilu” part (2 lines) has a huskier tone..
  The “Vaanam” part has a deep reverberating tone like it comes out of a mountain valley…
  The english reggae part is a combination of tones..
  The “Naeram” part has a more subtle tone..
  And the “Moodum” part probably has the most dominant tone compared to the other phrases..
  
  I have a long way to go (and more tools to buy) to learn the art of mastering. But at least, the above was my intention.
