Nuvvu Lekunda… (Without you…)

As I sat down in my studio yesterday, something happened and the result is this number. As I started playing with the first few notes, I had an image of this person, whom I had never met but had been reading about quite a bit of late. The girl in my image is/was a family member of a couple of my good friends. All but 22, she passed away a week ago in a road accident, hardly 4 months after she landed in the US for her Master’s. Of course, I had no idea about what kind of person she was till I heard from my friends as they grieved their loss. Just made me realize (again) that nothing can be taken for granted in life. This number is called “Nuvvu Lekunda” (Telugu for “Without you”..). May her family find the strength to get over this tragic loss.″

Besides fantasizing about being a Peter Gibbons at least for a couple of days at my work, I think I have a long way to go to realize some of the other fantasies. But like any ambitious man out there, I will get there! 1. Beautiful melody, makes you dream into the clouds beyond reality. A matching tribute to the departed soul.

    1. Thanks Pavan for checking it out. It was one of those thoughts that made me do this even though I had not planned to do something of this nature…Glad you liked it.

  2. A tribute sure to move all hearts…..this will definitely give some peace to her soul… very humane, nice of you to feel the pain of her family members and share their grief your made us all pray for her soul though she may not be known to us…

    1. Thanks..for your good words. My intention was not to pay tribute to her or make something in memory of her as I hardly knew her till last week. It was more spontaneous..and as I was composing this, her images came my way. If it helps provide peace to someone, I will be satisfied that I played a small role in that process.

  3. Came across this page when viewing Srini’s album on facebook. Nice music and nice of you for feeling for someone whom you haven’t met personally.

    1. Thanks Nuren. It was kind of you to stop by and listen to the piece. Yes. Sometimes how you feel gets translated into action..if you are moved. This was one such instance and my action in this case was this creation.
