Anti-Corruption Anthem

Thanks to Anna Hazare, this friend of mine (Srini) wanted to write a song to inspire others to take up the cause of anti corruption. Or at least make them think. And it so happened that a couple of other friends decided to meet us over the weekend. One thing led to the other and I decided to set tune for these lyrics. Unfortunately, my original idea of having my friends sing the song couldn’t materialize and before we knew it, they left Michigan.

So here I am – Presenting to you – “Anna Hazare” – The Anti-Corruption Anthem.

Besides fantasizing about being a Peter Gibbons at least for a couple of days at my work, I think I have a long way to go to realize some of the other fantasies. But like any ambitious man out there, I will get there! 1. This is just beautiful…I love the pacing and the energy. Great instrumentation (synthesizer??)
Lovely melody….I am so lucky to have such talented friends!! All I can say is WOW!!!

    1. Thank you Kelly for stopping by and for checking this out. Yes. The whole song was composed on synth/software..No live instruments as it was easier for me to do it all without any external dependency, although would have loved to have recorded this with some live/real instrumentalists.

  2. Hey! its just beautiful! Though i am not able to understand the lyrics, i know the subject, so could correlate..The beat and the lead organ give the real patriotic thrust to this song…continuously keeping in sync with the mood without any lags…!Cudos to the singer(u!)too
Cheers to u and your friends!
