What started off as joke among my family members has now resulted in this fun song. I started imagining how all of us would react if a family member decides to contest in an election. That led to me creating a funny campaign poster. So the next logical thing to do is to have a campaign song right?

As you can guess the party symbol is “Maampazham” or Mango.

Here you go:″

And don’t forget to read the Salsa – Sambar notes here.

Besides fantasizing about being a Peter Gibbons at least for a couple of days at my work, I think I have a long way to go to realize some of the other fantasies. But like any ambitious man out there, I will get there! 1. Thanks Venni. yes I had fun doing this track and it worked out mostly how I had originally imagined. Now I wish I had made this a little longer. But would have preferred someone else to write some real sarcastic lyrics to add to the fun. Did you catch some hidden dialogues?

  1. Hey! that was a cool one! I sat back and enjoyed the typical village campaign!…
Along with that melam, a soft pop also is added that gives it a rap like feel…where there is a combination of 2 entirely different sets ofinstruments!
The chorus was good…Is that you, you and you and Nakul?!
Keep it safe….or we might listen to it during our next elections.!..but I did not get the occult dialogues…Will try with the headphones..Keep it up!
P.S; Any plans for politics?! tell me, its confidential! ha!ha
    Good day!

    1. Thanks as always..:) The dialogues in the beginning include someone saying something about “microphone” malfunctioning ..and then is finally happy that it is fixed. Also towards the end, one guy telling another one that “thailavar is going to win no matter what”..and the other responds “there is no doubt”..
The chorus was all in my voice. So I recorded some 12 or 13 tracks in my voice for the chorus effect.
      No plans for politics 🙂
